Action Jackson is a great action flick that tells the story of two lookalikes Vishi and Jai aka, AJ. The character Vishi is a small-time crook who constantly picks up fights with goons to make some bucks, and the other is AJ, an assassin based in Bangkok who used to work for Xavier Fonseca (Anandraj), a ruthless don. The life of AJ and Vishi changes drastically when they cross paths with each other. With epic fights and intense shootout scenes, Action Jackson packs quite a punch in the action sequences.

Ajay Devgnappears is a double role in the movie. His character Vishi is a small-time criminal who gets into street fights for money. The other character AJ is a professional assassin and a former right-hand man of an underworld don. Vishi meets Khushi (Sonakshi Sinha), a clumsy girl who works as an HR executive. They end up falling in love with each other and get into a relationship. In another scene, Bangkok’s ruthless don’s sister, Marina, falls for AJ but gets rejected by him, as he is already married. Xavier gets angered and sends his goons to kill AJ’s wife Anusha (Yami Gautam) leaving her brutally injured. AJ flies back to India with Anusha to get her treated, and there he comes face-to-face with his doppelganger Vishi. They hatch a plan and switch places to confuse Xavier. The rest of the story is followed by a lot of power-packed action scenes and dialogues.
Besides hard-hitting action sequences, the movie has several popular songs that became fan-favourites. Songs like DhoomDhaam, ChichoraPiya, Keeda, etc. are some of the popular numbers from the movie.
